About the film
Ida is a girl who struggles with a turbulent emotional life a result of histrionic personality disorder (borderline). Over the past eight years, Ida has made a video diary to help calm her anger and structure her thoughts. Through her diary, we get unique insight into a world of fear and angst, but also valuable glimpses of everyday victories and self-discovery. Most importantly, we get to witness her struggle for self-acceptance and genuine appreciation of life.
IDA’S DIARY is a film about hope. About finding one’s own identity and daring to live life.
