Whistleblowing, freedom of expression and the culture of free speech in the public sector
June 22 2017
What: Breakfast meeting about whistleblowing (Fritt Ord in collaboration with Fafo)
When: Thursday, 22 June 8.30-10.00 a.m., with a simple breakfast from 8.00
Where: The Fritt Ord Foundation’s premises, Uranienborgveien 2
What is the status of the culture of free speech in the public sector? Does it limit employers’ freedom of expression? Do employees dare to report concerns about circumstances worthy of criticism? Amendments to the Working Environment Act are intended to provide better protection for whistleblowers – are the new rules enough?
