The New York Review of Books Foundation, The University of Hong Kong og Stiftelsen Fritt Ord inviterer til en internasjonal Kina-konferanse som vil finne sted fredag 15. og lørdag 16. januar 2016 ved Universitetet i Hong Kong.

Med konferansen The Governance of China ønsker vi blant annet å utforske spørsmålene ‘The State and Civil Society: Partnership or Containment?’, ‘The Internet and Social Media: Disputed Territory?’ og ‘Capitalism with a Chinese face?’. Andre teamer som vil bli diskutert er ‘The State at the Center’, ‘Legal and Constitutional Reform’, ‘China and the World’ og ‘China and the Future of Hong Kong’.
